Just trudging along...

To me, the most important thing about writing is feeling involved in the book. If you don't feel connected to the characters, then it's not a strong enough plot line. In 'Til Death Do Us Part, the relationship between Lucas and Mary Jane was strong enough for me to feel. I knew the hardships between the two characters was ratable enough for me to feel for.
In Testing Fate (the first book in my second series) the love triangle between Anastasia, Elijah, and Alexander is soo powerful I felt like crying when Anastasia cried! That's the kind of feeling I want when I read a book. [s] I want to be part of the book that I'm reading.
Now I'm working on three projects, and I'm getting three types of emotions when I write about the adventures all my characters go through. I've been continuing Testing Fate, which is my next book to come out, as well as continuing the second book in The Fearless Series (which is the second book after 'Til Death Do Us Part) and I've also been working on the first book in my third series; Shattered.
I don't know how I do it, but I've been dealing with it pretty well (even though I do mix up the characters once in awhile. I don't recommend writing three different books.)
Anyways, so I've been pretty busy. I NEED to focus more on school, because my grades haven't been the best recently. I'm passing everything, don't get me wrong, but they need to me higher. So I might take some time off to focus on raising my grades. School comes first, no matter how much not writing kills me.
I suppose I should go now and study for my Government test...
