*Update on Testing Fate*

The first book of The Moon Seeker's Series WILL NOT be released in February 2013.

I have changed the release date on here, on amazon.com, in 'Til Death Do Us Part (because I had a release date and a three chapter preview in 'Til Death Do Us Part), and on Goodreads.com.

I am very sorry for the last minute change. The new release date will be in February 2014 instead. (February 2014 was the original release date, however I pushed it forward because I was making great progress on writing it.)

Let's Recap:

April 10, 2013- The Secret Vows (The Fearless Series #2) is released!

November 28, 2013- [title to be announced] (The Fearless Series #3) is released!

February 2014- Testing Fate (The Moon Seeker's Series #1) is released!

I'm sorry guys, for the change. I hope y'all understand.

It's Almost Christmas!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I get to see family members that I never usually get to see, and I get to help cook the biggest feast of the year! (Not to mention that I don't mind getting some presents...)
But seeing family means a lot to me, and barely any of them know that I published my first book.
Fingers crossed that they all like the news!

This week at school is 'Spirit Week'. Every day leading up to the last day of school before winter break, there are dress up days and different events that give some 'friendly' competition amongst 6th-12th graders.
The last day of school before break is the big Pep Rally that ends with twenty events, that gets every grade cheering on the bleachers. Each grade gets assigned their own color. My grade (11th grade) was assigned red. So we made customized t-shirts, socks, ribbons, and we're paining out faces red. This should be interesting...

      Here's some book news!

I've been working on the second installment of the Fearless Series; The Secret Vows! I'm only on page 67 so far, but considering it's not coming out until April, I'd say I'm making good time. My goal is to get at least 80 pages written by the end of this month.
I'm also looking to get my first book in the Moon Seeker's Series-Testing Fate finished writing by the end of this month. I'm aiming around 250 pages, and I'm on page 146 now. I need to start working on that again that way I'm not cutting my time short. But The Secret Vows is consuming me right now! I'm so full of ideas that I'm dying to write down and make alive! It's really hard to not write when I've got ideas that need to be written down.
But I'm working my very best on getting both goals set at the end of the month.

      -Until my next post,
               Kisses.

Just trudging along...

To me, the most important thing about writing is feeling involved in the book. If you don't feel connected to the characters, then it's not a strong enough plot line. In 'Til Death Do Us Part, the relationship between Lucas and Mary Jane was strong enough for me to feel. I knew the hardships between the two characters was ratable enough for me to feel for.
In Testing Fate (the first book in my second series) the love triangle between Anastasia, Elijah, and Alexander is soo powerful I felt like crying when Anastasia cried! That's the kind of feeling I want when I read a book. [s] I want to be part of the book that I'm reading.
Now I'm working on three projects, and I'm getting three types of emotions when I write about the adventures all my characters go through. I've been continuing Testing Fate, which is my next book to come out, as well as continuing the second book in The Fearless Series (which is the second book after 'Til Death Do Us Part) and I've also been working on the first book in my third series; Shattered.
I don't know how I do it, but I've been dealing with it pretty well (even though I do mix up the characters once in awhile. I don't recommend writing three different books.)
Anyways, so I've been pretty busy. I NEED to focus more on school, because my grades haven't been the best recently. I'm passing everything, don't get me wrong, but they need to me higher. So I might take some time off to focus on raising my grades. School comes first, no matter how much not writing kills me.
I suppose I should go now and study for my Government test...

Time To Get Serious...

It's time that we had a little... talk. A little heart to heart. I need to get serious about something that I hold very close to me....

I have an... addiction. A writing addiction. (And a slight muffin addiction, but that's beside the point right now. I might touch base on that a little later.) Back to the point, though. Writing is something that I cannot get enough of. After I finished writing 'Til Death Do Us Part, I planned on stopping writing to focus on school and selling books. However that didn't happen.
Almost immediately after I published 'Til Death Do Us Part, I began a new book. I was going to step away from the computer and just focus on school, but I couldn't do it. Technology means too much to me- sadly, I think it's my life. Without my computer I couldn't publish a book. I'm perfectly fine with a pen and paper, but the 'rush' isn't the same.
Writing is something that I relate to. It's the only way I can express myself. Having adventures I usually wouldn't makes me exited to see where I wind up. (Metaphorically speaking. I'll obviously always be sitting in front of the computer screen. I wouldn't technically 'wind up' anywhere except on my butt writing to you guys. Again, not the point.) ANYWAYS, I find myself always coming back to writing. It's like my safety net. It's my only source of comfort.
I just felt like writing to you about it.
I might go eat a muffin now...
